Insurance to Protect our Referring Source

E&O Insurance alone for home inspectors costs thousands of dollars per year for a single home inspector.  Add to that the cost of premises liability insurance, a referral endorsement and other needed endorsements- and many inspectors just decide they can't afford the cost.  In their inspection agreements, you will probably read that their liability is limited to the cost of the inspection.  As you look out for the best interest of your client, that limited liability for the inspector could end up costing you.

At Starkie & Sons, LLC it is important to us to look after the best interest of you and your clients by holding an insurance policy that protects us all.  We carry the additional Referral Endorsement, insuring the referring party on our policy.  We also include a "Hold Harmless" clause in our inspector agreement, helping keep you out of court.  It's like we have you double covered!

For an extra level of assurance, keep in mind that as a member of NACHI (National Assocation of Home Inspectors) we are required to pass NACHI's Inspector Exam every year, complete an Ethics Obstacle Course, fulfill annual Continuing Education requirement, and make all of our inspections available for review by their advisory board, and meet many other requirements.
